Judy is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida and Georgia. Judy works with individuals, couples and families desiring change to better understand themselves and others leading to more peace and joy in their lives. Judy has gained experiencing spanning over the last 30 years in various roles such as; a Christian school counselor, authored 2 children’s books, radio host for weekly program, “Child of Mine”, providing professional development workshops in elementary schools, as well as, leadership training workshops for the University of Kentucky School of Business, and leadership development for Darden Corporation through Rollins College, School of Business. Judy was a volunteer facilitator for noted Grieving Program at Bay Hope Church in Lutz, FL for 5 years and is currently a training facilitator for Trauma Healing through the American Bible Society. As an Emotional/Social Competency Inventory accredited professional with the Hay Group (developed from Daniel Goleman’s research on Emotional Intelligence), she helps individuals discover personal strengths and weaknesses while enhancing personal satisfaction in relationships both in and out of the workplace. Judy earned a master’s degree in counseling in 1989 with further studies in the areas of Choice Theory/Reality Therapy and Rational Emotive Therapy. Judy’s passion for families led to further study at the University of South Florida to become a Marriage and Family Therapist. Judy is Licensed as a Family Therapist in Florida (MT3242) and Georgia (MFT1836). Judy provides in office counseling and telehealth counseling to meet the specific needs of each client.
